This is the plan for my module. A micro container freight yard with train shed and refueling point. |
The main running lines (4 front tracks) are completed. |
The layout is tested for stock capacity. |
After confirming all the track positions, everything is lifted to drill more power and switch motor holes. |
Holes drilled the track is repositioned and finished. |
Point Motors get wired up. |
Construction of the hill side scenery is well under way. |
The points get wired onto the control panel |
The hillside foundations and papier mache skin get completed |
Here the module is tested for compatibility into the Club setup. All runs well so everything is set for June! |
An overview of the module with a mockup of how I see the scenery laid out. Still unsure about the hillside though. The hedge clumps are too large. |
Having laid and glued the ballast, it is left to dry in the June sunshine |
Derelict trackwork from an old siding |
With the main scenic details complete, finer touches are added. Bush, flowers, and Depot furniture. |
An overview of the yard as seen at the kewbridge Boat Show in June 2006 |
The finished micro container yard |
The Freightliner depot with all its details |
